DANCE TELEVISION
DRAMATIC
FILM
|
- DGTV seeks evocative actors, models, dancers and classical
musicians to join the effervescent cast of the independent film
currently in production.
-
- Actors: The film's general
mood is philosophical, incisive and conceptually layered. The material demands a speed of
lyrical conception: an awareness of subtle depth. The plot is exceedingly nuanced, and
replete with dramatic irony. The film's dialogue is scripted in old English with some
measure of Shakespearean cadence. The wardrobe is very elegant and so requires actors to
display physical decorum. This cinema deals with the examined and aesthetic life. Not
youth but seasoned refinement.
-
- Dancers: Many scenes in the
film use dancers as reference for the most viable human form in physical existence. The
sculptural expressions of the trained mover replicates the utmost in existential
refinement. The dancers in this film are physical philosophers.
- As a requisite condition, all dancers must be classically
trained. The forms are: classical ballet, classical jazz dance, classical spanish,
classical Indian/Middle Eastern and classical Japanese.
Figure Models: The film uses
figure models to advance the discourse on sensuous form and erotic literacy. Figure models
also help propel the discourse on fashion, fabric and photography. It is clear that figure
models would be in good form.
- Classical Musicians: The film's music score
of choice is classical. Single
- instrumentalists should be able to play-sync to solo
compositions already recorded. Compositions include Mozart, Beethoven, Bach,
Debussy and others.
